Trumpets-L Trumpets-l is used for scheduling (things like Trumpet Gatherings (Homecoming!)) and to just keep in touch with everyone. It is not like most e-mail lists in that you will not get tons of trash mail. All alums and current members are invited to join. Once you join, Lisa will verify that you are a Big Red Trumpet Alum or current member and then accept you onto the list. Once this happens you will get a message that says you are officially on trumpets-l. From then on you only have to send a message to trumpets-l@cornell.edu to get in touch with the Big Red Trumpet family. Here are the instructions:
Send an e-mail message just like this one: Thats all you have to do! Subscribe now! Also, if anyone is lame enough to want to leave the mailing list, all he/she has to do is send the same e-mail, but replace the body with: leave trumpets-l A document tailored specifically for Cornell mailing lists is also available. It is called "Using E-lists at Cornell - Lyris"... Below is a list of Big Red Trumpets who have faithfully served as Trumpets-l Listmasters. During their tenure, they were in charge of maintaining the list and adding and deleting members...
